what if life was a poem
every decision each choice each mis
take
each lesson a new line
a strung rhyme on a chain of words
what if each day was a painting
the morning a white canvas
the rising sun’s rays raining down paint
new colors mixing across sky
what if history
was a hand-clap a drumbeat
or heartstring that brings me
home
