          take a thought

                                  slice so fine you know

                      the taste     by the smell

          this   sep

               ar       ate

                  ness     is what makes

                                                   it good

          so chop off one end

                                  peel leaves down

                        & dice

                                 each funky thought

                                          lengthwise

                                                       crossways

          down this side

                            the other / from

                  one corner 2 the next

                                           don’t 4get

                                                         2 exhale

    This is magnificent! Until recently I didn’t ‘get’ poetry, but this really speaks to me – this is the sort of poetry we should be teaching in schools.
